Innovate Calgary
Innovate Calgary is the innovation transfer and business incubator centre for the University of Calgary. As part of the Office of the Vice-President (Research) portfolio, and as a member of the UCalgary innovation ecosystem, Innovate works closely with researchers, faculty, and students to help bridge the gap between discovery and creating economic and societal impact
UCeed
UCeed is a key program in UCalgary’s innovation ecosystem that bridges the gap between innovation demonstration and commercialization for UCalgary startup companies. Activated by Innovate Calgary, successful applicants to the UCeed program receive funding and support during the critical transitional stage of startup companies. With funding, startups are able to accelerate key activities such as pre-clinical trials and technology feasibility.
Creative Destruction Labs
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. CDL's program involves mentorship from select entrepreneurs and angel investors, opportunities to raise capital, advice on technology roadmaps from scientists, and business development support from top MBA students.
